WarInk originated in Modesto, California as a screen printing business ran by owner, Ben Forehand. A few years later, Ben met Emily and everything started to change. The couple fell in love, Ben packed his bags and moved to Memphis, TN to marry Emily. The dream to design and manufacture a clothing line had always been a dream for Emily. After saving enough money to buy a press and other screen printing equipment, War Ink became a reality in Memphis, TN. What once was a screen printing business has now evolved into a company that designs and manufactures clothing for many organizations as well as creates and produces a unique clothing line of their own. Each shirt is printed with ink that holds a message of hope, courage, and purpose. As a clothing brand, War Ink stands by the belief that "Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that" (Dr. King). The couple stated, "It is our dream that through our clothing, our customers will be empowered, encouraged, and challenged to draw nearer to Christ. The messages we wear are a beacon of light to those around us, so shine on."
This store is owned by a husband and wife team from the beautiful state of Tennessee. Each piece of clothing has a handmade touch from a member of our shop. It is their desire that you are inspired by the piece of clothing that best suites you.
WarInk is inspired by elements from the West Coast all the way to the East Coast. This company believes that apparel can point people towards Christ and the designs on our clothing are meant to spread the Gospel through different messages.
